How To Join
While we want you to feel welcome to participate in the activities and ministries of Glen Meadows, we must provide direction and hold responsibility for those activities and ministries. Membership with Glen Meadows is best understood after attending our regular Starting Point class, a basic breakdown of our beliefs, purpose, strategy and vision. You may join Glen Meadows after attending this class. If for some reason you do not want to attend Starting Point, you can also talk with one of our ministers during the invitation at the end of a service, or call the office, to find out more information.
You can join Glen Meadows by:
Transferring your membership. If you’ve already been a member of another solid Southern Baptist church that has the same beliefs, that’s good enough for us. We’ll contact your former church and have them affirm your spiritual beliefs.
Affirming our statement of faith. If you’ve already been a member at a church, but it’s not a Southern Baptist church, then you can join by indicating you believe our core beliefs. As long as you affirm these truths, and you have been scripturally baptized (that is, immersed as a symbol of your inward change), we will accept you into membership.
Being baptized. If you’ve never been baptized, whether you’re a brand new believer or an old saint, then you need to follow Jesus’ example and be baptized. Glen Meadows believes that scriptural baptism is where you are completely immersed under water.
